I am an international student and English was not my first language so I have been struggling a lot with Physics and Maths theory. I started being tutored with True Education since the end of year 11. I was very impressed by Tony's patience and professionalism. He was willing to explain every concept to help me improving my Physics and Maths grades. Tony is super friendly and easy to communicate with. I am very happy and motivated when having Tony as my tutor for HSC

I joined True Education at the end of year 11 because I felt like I had fallen behind due to the lockdown and the current class work because to difficult to grasp. I was paired up with Jye who was so patient with me while I slowly caught up with my class and eventually even got ahead which took a lot of pressure off for my externals.

I live in the boarding school at The King's School in Paramatta and had started my HSC during the peak period of Covid. The school notified us that we weren't allow to have any external tutors come into our dorm which made me really scared of not being able to improve my marks in time for my final exams. I found Tony's tutoring profile online stating that he offered online lessons and gave it go. He was able to explain content so freely and kept the lessons so engaging which took me by surprised. The materials and notes he wrote during class was sent to me after class which made it very convenient.  Would definitely recommend online tutoring with Tony regardless of Lockdown or not.

I have been Mr Nguyen's physic student since the beginning of 2020 during grade 11 until I graduated high school in December 2021. Mr Nguyen has helped me with all my troubles in physics including misunderstanding in content, help in assignments, providing specific feedback and extra practice resources for physics. Mr Nguyen's teaching attitude to me more like a friend more like a teacher, which is perfect for teenagers to be more engaged in some relatively dry content. Therefore effectively stimulated their educational attitude towards studying physics in high school.

Tony started tutoring me half way through year 12 and was able to bump my grades up from 50% to 80-90%. He will continue to explain things until you understand the information and is very patient and considerate. He makes class interesting and exciting. He is very flexible, always able to switch up days and times.

 I was half way through year 11 when I realised I needed a tutor for math methods and potentially physics in order to achieve the A’s I wanted and needed, however my past experience with tutors, especially those in STEM subjects was more along the lines of giving out material and very one dimensional explanations when I didn’t fully understand a concept. I asked some of my higher achieving friends for a recommendation and that’s when I came across Tony Nguyen. From the beginning of year 12 there was a change in not only my work ethic, but my understanding of the topics, as year 11 and 12 are closely linked. Through Tony, I was able to study ahead of my cohort in order to spend more time practising, and learning other subjects that required my attention. He was very flexible in his teaching style and he taught me differently to my friends who also learned from him. Externals was the most stressful time of the year, however it was easier since Tony also made extra time for his year 12 students, boosting my confidence going into the exams and resulting in me ultimately achieving higher results than what was predicted by my school. I couldn’t recommend a more capable tutor for maths and physics!
